I based this kinetic typography on the audio from this viral video of Lebron James giving a rousing post-game speech, complemented by the hilarious interpretation of a gospel organist. Just as the musician noticed, Lebron's speech was ripe with metaphor and sporty, spiritual imagery. Lebron and the musician built up quite a narrative, and I used kinetic type to add another visual dimension.

After setting the stage with a golden yellow that reflects Lebron's team and spirtuality, and the fonts Bebas Neue and Merriweather Ultrabold, I set out to illustrate Lebron's metaphors and intense vision. This work was completed within the Interactive Media M.A. course Visual Aesthetics.
