In the Interactive Media course Visual Aesthetics, I redesigned took on the task of redesigning a mobile application interface. I chose the native app for the National Folk Festival, one of two yearly events held by the Arts Greensboro organization. The existing application favored an all-in-one approach by introducing users to both events.
Early wireframing sketches
In my solution, I preserved the dual event structure while streamlining the interface. I wanted to make the various options accessible but not overwhelming to users.
I developed my low-fidelity sketches into high-fidelity mockups using Adobe Experience Design. (Note: photos in prototype were not created by me) An interactive prototype can be found here.
